Your data

Delete your account.

How to delete your account, what is removed the moment you do, and what is kept afterwards — stated exactly, for every app we publish.

App-specific

OldFriend

Method one · Recommended

Delete it inside the app.

The fastest route, and the only one that takes effect immediately.

  1. 01Open the OldFriend app and sign in.
  2. 02Tap the Me tab, at the far right of the bottom bar.
  3. 03Scroll down and tap Delete or Reset Account.
  4. 04Turn on Delete Account.
  5. 05Tap Continue, then type your username exactly to confirm — this step exists so an account cannot be destroyed by a mis-tap.
  6. 06Tap Confirm Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

The same screen can also reset individual parts of your account — habits, challenges, friends, inventory or level — without deleting it. Leave Delete Account off if that is what you want instead.

Method two

Request it by email.

If you no longer have access to the app, we will delete it for you. For security, send the request from the email address on the account.

Your registered email address, your OldFriend username, and a clear statement requesting deletion.

Deleted immediately

  • Your profile — username, email address, photo, level, diamonds and badges
  • Every challenge you created or joined, and all your check-ins
  • All photo and video proof you uploaded, from storage as well as the database
  • Your health data — steps, calories, sleep, weight history and any goal you set
  • Your recorded walks and race routes, including GPS traces
  • Your friend connections and your direct messages
  • Your posts, comments and likes
  • Your push notification token, so notifications stop at once

Kept, and for how long

Encrypted backups
Our database provider keeps rolling backups for operational recovery. Your data disappears from these as they age out, within 30 days. They are never used to restore a deleted account.
Records of confirmed abuse
If your account was reported and a moderator upheld it, we keep a minimal record — the offending content and the decision — so a banned user cannot simply delete and re-register. Nothing else from your profile is retained.
Purchase records
Subscription transactions are held by Google Play or the App Store, not by us. We cannot delete those; the store's own data controls apply.

Messages you sent to other people remain in their conversation, in the same way an email you sent stays in the recipient's inbox. Your name is removed from it.

No account

Grabbo

This app has no account, no sign-in and no server-side profile, so there is nothing on our side to delete. Uninstalling removes everything stored on your device, and clearing the in-app history does the same without uninstalling.
